"TERMINAL NEW YORK"

"TERMINAL NEW YORK" show took place from September to December 1983.

Located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the site had been a massive train-to-docks army terminal.

This industrial center held the position of the largest concrete construction to date - 1950's, and, it was last used for its original function during the Vietnan War.

A very large number of artists, myself included, made this exhibit as a venue to break into the New York art scene. There were 431 entries.

My proposal had been to photograph nude bodies interacting with the emptiness of this ghost war factory.

The images were printed at 1:1 scale and plastered onto the decaying walls as if they were part of the flaking industrial paint and battered up concrete.
